Referral!

We received and accepted a referral for a son. Even though we have been waiting for over 2 years, it caught us by total surprise.

We are not able to publicly share his picture and information yet, but it is surreal seeing his face and looking into his eyes. He is about 6 years old (they are not sure exactly how old he is). He has some minor health issues that we are praying about and trusting God for. And he has a bright and radiant smile.

At this point, we have to complete some more paperwork and wait for a court date. The hope would be to travel to Ethiopia to meet him by the end of this year.

As we accept this referral, we have to pay a large chunk of our adoption expenses. About $7,000 is due immediately. God has provided thus far and we are confident He will continue to provide what we need to obey Him in this way.
